Hello Crafters
How are you all, hopefully using all this upheaval to spend good quality crafting time! Turn the negative into positive!
I recently bought a set of Whimsy Stamps that just caught my attention, and was one of those ‘Had To Have!’ sets and I truly was not disappointed. They are so cute and fun that I have coloured a few and already made two cards and more images waiting to be used. I was so taken with them that I bought the latest set too, so waiting for the happy mail to mix and match! Addicted or what!! Whimsy please stop, before you break my bank managers heart!
It was only a little card, a UK size A6 , which is 10.5 cm x 14.8 cm or 4.1″ x 5.8″, but it was just so cute, and I used distress inks Antique Linen and Tea Dye for the sand and Worn Lipstick and Dried Marigold with a light hand for the sunset behind them. When I stamped the faces on (these are included with the cactus stamps) I wasn’t sure at first but then I enhanced with a fine liner pen and it bought them alive.
On the inside I used the negative card from the frame for the greeting which worked well.
I hope this bought a smile to your face, as these stamps are so versatile and I can’t wait to see what you could all do with them, so don’t forget to share those great card makes.
Items Used:
