All About You!

Hello Crafters

Well, what can I say, this should have been post yesterday, and I have no excuse, other than the migraine that has been hanging around for 3 days, but I simply forgot it was blog day! Now if that isn’t a sign of getting old I don’t know what is! To my defence though I was busy enjoying a little time with that very rare thing called a family visit, with our 4 year old granddaughter, so in my book that’s good enough!

So today I would like to share a card I made recently for my sister-in-law, and a great chance to play with my new Altenew clear stamps – Torch ginger! Do you know I really wasn’t sure when I first saw these but I am so glad that what I originally wanted was out of stock, as these are so beautiful and easy to layer too.

It was wonderful to experiment with different inks too, as my go to is normal Memento Dew Drops, but this was my first time with Altenew inks, and I love the fact that you buy in colour groups, and this group was Warm and Cozy 4 ink set. I must admit I was so impressed with how the first stamp gave a really good impression. Oh dear, yet another addiction to fulfil!

I hope you enjoy this card as it was one of those that I couldn’t stop looking at once it was finished, that’s when you know you’ve hit the jackpot!

Have a great week!

  1. What a great card! I have never used any of the Altenew inks. I did see before that they came in groups of 4. Maybe the next time I need some ink pads I will give them a try! Thanks for sharing and thanks for the information!

    1. Your welcome, it is always nice to get an opinion when dealing with products you don’t know. I have now about 8 different packs and the colour shading is amazing but they are also good for general stamping as the ink is really solid. I would say worth a try and my guide is they are equivalent to Memento Dew Drop and I love those.
